Arctica Protocol

Project Website:  https://www.ArcticaProtocol.com

This is the first and only Cold Storage wallet that simultaneously offers security, privacy, redundancy, and recovery.  This is completed by:

A 5 of 7 multisig that decays down to a 1 of 7 over a long period. Multisig solves the security issue with private key management, but not the privacy issue - anyone who finds a single key/backup can still see all transactions and the entire balance. So each CD is encrypted by what we call 'Reading Keys'. However, that makes the system very brittle.  We solve this by having Blind Pin Servers that eventually publish these keys if you can't access them. The server operators are incentivized to publish these keys because on wallet setup, you give them pre-signed transactions only valid after the timelock. These pre-signed transactions both publish the keys and pays them a substantial amount of bitcoin (only both or neither can happen).

The updated protocol is far more advanced.  Not only does it secure your bitcoin from theft, but the protocol also makes it far more difficult to lose your coins (redundancy), and protects you from traditional privacy threats of backups. All other current private key management schemes fail at least one of these.  We have changed the name of the protocol from Yeti to Arctica.
